We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we have completed a new Fold album. It will be released for UK Record Store Day 2019 (April 13) on limited edition coloured vinyl, CD and all digital platforms. More than 3 years have passed since our first album so this has been a long time coming. We have just approved the test pressings and are practically levitating with joy at how good they sound.
Two new singles will precede the album. The first, entitled Stronger Than the Evils, is our debut collaboration with Nottingham based MC / beatbox champion MotorMouF. It will be released digitally on February 22. With any luck it’ll make a few appearances on the radio before then. The second single, to be released on March 29, is still a well guarded secret so please stay tuned for details. You can stream and preorder the first single below.
This project features the greatest number of living contributors we’ve ever assembled – 19 in total. As usual there are also sampled appearances from several eloquent speakers. Only two tracks out of eleven have been heard previously and both have been reworked for this release. The music emphasises a dynamic fusion of hip hop, jazz, funk and poetry along with the social conscience that is our calling card.
We feel this new Fold album is a particularly strong outing and we are genuinely dying to share it with you 🙂

Will the new album be available anywhere else on vinyl other than in participating record store day stores? I’m unable to get to a store on RSD!
