Be Water My Friend celebrates Bruce Lee’s humanitarian philosophy in the affirming lead single from our debut album
Initially written as a demo constructed only from samples our new single takes Trip Hop to a different level by re-orchestrating and recording the whole track in a studio using live instruments. With a nod to 70s funk the inspirational & humanitarian musings of the one and only Bruce Lee are backed by breakbeats, bass, guitar, shakers, 3 piece horn section and a haunting vibraphone melody. In order to preserve a natural groove no click track was used during the recording.
Written, arranged, performed, co-produced & mixed by Fold.
