Introducing Fold

“This is political; it’s intelligent and it’s music with something to say. Fold force you to sit up and listen, and they leave you with more questions than answers.”

Based in Leeds, live downtempo / trip-hop 4 piece Fold integrate speech into music in experimental ways in order to reflect some of the more difficult truths of the world. The message carried in all of their music is based on a fundamental belief that equal societies are better for everyone.

Fold support organisations dedicated to bringing about global equality including the Tax Justice Network, Kiva and The Equality Trust.

On March 19th Fold’s single Mr President, We’re In Trouble (ft. Jimmy Carter) was nominated for an Independent Music Award. You can show your support for the record in the popular vote. Buy the single now on limited red 7″ vinyl & digital download – 75% of profits from digital sales will go to the Equality Trust.
